The children had a wonderful Sports Day today!  It was brilliant to see them all doing so well - and to be able to invite everyone back into school to join us!

Reception had a wonderful day visiting the sand dunes and beaches at Ynyslas and Borth and learning what an important job is done by the RNLI to help keep us safe at sea. Thanks to everyone who came along to help and to the children who all behaved fantastically.

5/6J enjoyed a really informative visit from Stephen Hugh-Jones today who came to tell them all about his time living in the Amazon rainforest!  Diolch yn fawr!

The children (and staff) in KS2 enjoyed a brilliant day out at West Midland Safari Park to support our Discovery learning chapter. We had a brilliant tour of the animals led by the park rangers and then headed off to make our own discoveries around the park!  It was great fun! 🐧🐦🦖

The children had a brilliant time taking part in Welsh yard games yesterday lunchtime.  Massive thanks to Gruff for coming to help us!

Today has been the very best kind of day!  We have celebrated the Queen's Jubilee by spending a brilliant day all TOGETHER!!! The day started with an art assembly overseen by Her Majesty - including a brilliant challenge to make our own portrait of the Queen with a piece of string. We all enjoyed a picnic lunch, lots of singing, dancing and a fabulous parade of crowns! We ended the afternoon by making new friends and playing games on the field! We have had so much fun! Well done to everyone for making today so special!  Have a wonderful half term break! 🤩🥳

KS2 had a brilliant time visiting Hay Festival today! We loved hearing the authors and some of the children even got to ask questions! It was great to get out and about! 🙂

Crash landing!!!! 
The children were all amazed to find that a hot air balloon had landed in a tree this morning! They searched for clues to help them find out what had happened!

Year 6 have had a brilliant first day at Oaker Wood! Here they are all set for their Paintballing adventures! Who will be the winners!?! 🏆

Today we wished a very fond farewell to our Headteacher, Mr Faulkner. Mr Faulkner has been at Presteigne Primary School for almost 25 years.  He has told the children that he is now looking forward to lots of adventures! Diolch yn fawr Mr F - we will miss you! 👨‍🏫
