Dosbarth 2C Autumn 2016

To kick-start our ‘Fighting Fit’ topic we had a lovely morning exploring Stapleton Castle. Mr Griffiths told us lots of interesting facts and we all enjoyed our tour of the castle site. Back in class we designed these stunning shields.

We love learning Welsh in 2C and created these fabulous ‘Dyma Fi’ books for our Welsh display. IMG_5063

Can you tell Who’s Who in our portrait gallery? This was a challenging task!

IMG_5064 We are currently in the middle of a ‘Rich Task’.  Mrs Cook set us the challenge of planning and hosting a medieval banquet.  So far, we have researched banquets using the school iPads, designed menus and costed up the ingredients needed for our feast.  We still have to write invitations, design the table decorations and make all the yummy food! This task is helping us to develop a wide range of literacy, numeracy and digital competence skills. IMG_5065

What a busy term we are having!
